Falling Tree

Falling but holding on, refusing to give in and stubborn to the end.
That description describes a few of my older relatives
and may sound familiar to yourself, or it could describe close friends. But I am actually referring to this old tree, in Northamptonshire
close to the River Nene
and only a stones throw to the Village of Wadenhoe.
The small spring & stream that flow under this gravity defying tree, runs down to the River Nene ( to the Right & out of view ),
hence the title "Fall to Nene".
If you look close to the left of the tree, you may see the face that i only discovered, after i returned home.
Here is another wood "Millington Wood"
