Solo Jackdaw

This was a special return visit to Lathkill Dale on the day after midsummer's day, Walking from Monyash along the old Quarry trail.
The light clouds on the left of the image were a
prelude to the rain that afternoon.
The Jackdaws were absent apart from the solo one
soaring on the thermals.
